Webinar: Exploring Important Milestones on the ARC’s Transition Timeline

January 26 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

As part of Cotting’s Family Engagement in Transition initiative, we are excited to invite you to participate in four important family learning opportunities. Throughout the course of your child’s time at Cotting, from Lower School through Capstone, these concepts are important for everyone to consider!

At our quarterly family learning opportunities, you will be able to:

  1. Learn about vision planning and its importance in transition
  2. Explore a timeline of transition milestones
  3. Understand the importance of self-determination for our students
  4. Have regular opportunities to network and collaborate with other Cotting families

The second webinar, “Exploring Important Milestones on the ARC’s Transition Timeline“, will be hosted online via Zoom on Friday, January 26, 2024.

As students with disabilities grow older, their parents may experience the tasks of supporting them through the process of transition as a long list that keeps growing longer and longer. It may be difficult to know where to start, as well as how to set priorities and maintain energy.

In this presentation, the Cotting School Parent Engagement in Transition Team–Capstone Teacher Lola Piscopo, Guidance Counselor Kathy Tyrer and Family Support Coordinator Pam Varrin–will take you on a guided tour of the ARC Transition Timeline, highlighting areas of focus in each time frame.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Please use the following link to join us for this webinar on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6466422383?pwd=YS9QQTg0WnQ0bDlrR09OeUlsWFVJQT09
