Students work with local employers to develop their vocational and transitional skills through Project Bridges, our community-based volunteer work experience program. In addition to building connections with businesses in the surrounding area, this program empowers students to view themselves as a vital part of the greater community, outside of their home and Cotting School.
For fans of toys and games, both online and in-person, Henry Bear’s Park is a great place to work!
At pottery studio Indigo Fire, a Capstone student helps keep things tidy and organized.
An Upper School student puts editing skills he gained in Cotting’s Media Arts class to good use at The Dance Inn.
Students enjoy learning every aspect of plant care—from planting to watering to weeding—at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery Greenhouses.
A Capstone student shows off the results of all her hard work at Crumbl Cookies in Waltham.
At Drumlin Farm, students enjoy being in nature and learning how to care for animals like goats, cows and sheep.
