An assistive technology (AT) or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessment includes a records review, direct client contact for assessment activities and observation and/or consultation with key team members. This assessment is completed over the course of one to two sessions, depending on specific requests from the team and family.

Consulting team members support best practices for technology integration, guiding the development and implementation of technology plans, assisting with curriculum modification and alternative assessment, and mentoring therapists and teachers in developing their own assessment and intervention skills.

We specialize in direct teaching and therapeutic interventions around the use of technology, development of implementation plans, management and programming of equipment, monitoring and reporting student progress.

Our team offers curriculum development for differentiated instruction and mentors teachers in the development of curriculum mapping. We can also help develop materials in the areas of inclusion and modification, create adaptive material, write lesson plans, create data and progress monitoring tools and review of scope and sequence, along with activity implementation.

We provide presentations and trainings for small and large groups on a wide range of technology, executive functioning, and social and educational topics.
