She is a former award-winning reporter and columnist for the “Boston Herald” and a respected voice in pop culture commentary and media analysis. Her work has appeared on NECN and Boston 25\, as well as in numerous Boston-area publications. \nIn addition to her media career\, Lauren is a frequent public speaker and advocate for the disability community. She has spoken on behalf of organizations such as The Arc of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council\, with appearances at the Massachusetts State House and at the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress Annual Leadership Workshop Award Ceremony.
