As you know, we are honoring all our families by designating the courtyard in our new space as the Cotting Family Courtyard. With your gift to the courtyard, your family name will be listed on the plaque. If you have not yet contributed to the capital campaign to make this possible, now is your chance! Have you received your Child Tax Credit?
The Child Tax Credit in the American Rescue Plan provides the largest Child Tax Credit ever – and as of July 15th, most families of children under 18 years of age are automatically receiving monthly payments of $250 or $300 per child without having to take any action.
While many families will automatically receive this benefit, families whose income was not high enough to have had to file taxes in recent years may not be aware that they qualify and may need to sign up as a “non-filer” to receive the payments.
If your child or children are under 18 and you have not received your payment, go to Child Tax Credit (click here for Spanish) to find out how to access this benefit. Resources include a two-sided flyer in English and Spanish and this Help is Here flyer in English and Spanish.
