Parent Weekly Update: June 4, 2021

Weekly Update
Thanks to the Cotting PTO and Cotting families, Cotting faculty and staff members were
able to gather for lunch outside under the tent for a delicious lunch for the first time
since the pandemic!
Your appreciation was felt deeply by every single staff member. To quote one:
“The taco truck was amazing…very delicious and extra wonderful not to pack a lunch. The drink/fruit/dessert tables were FANTASTIC! Way too generous. Ben’s playlist topped off the luncheon. Mother nature also was on our side. Please extend my thanks to the PTO for their kindness and generosity.”
Thanks for all the work you ALL did to make this happen!

Anyone Interested in Long Term Use of a VERY Adaptive Bike?
Our friends at Waypoint Adventure are looking for a good summer home for a VeloPlus Wheelchair Transport Bike:
The VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike is designed for transporting people, who can remain seated in their own wheelchair, by cycle. The passenger is not required to be transferred between the wheelchair and the cycle. The co-rider can be wheeled on to the plateau of the cycle easily without having to be lifted. The tilted ramp makes it easy to roll the wheelchair on to the wheel-chair bike and fasten it properly with the wheelchair lock. The optional winch system makes this even easier. Instead of the driver using his or her own power to push the wheelchair user including the wheelchair up or down, the electric winch takes over.
For a picture of the bike and more information go to:
If you are interested or want to know more, please contact Dan Minnich at Waypoint at 781-325-7980 x182!
