After nearly nine years at Cotting, Dan is ready for the next chapter! Dan passed the MCAS in ELA, Math, and Science and earned his high school diploma at our graduation ceremony earlier this month. He is excited to start at Valley Collaborative in Billerica next year, where he’ll work on improving vocational skills and applying academics in transitional skill domains. He also plans to start taking classes at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, MA with an interest in culinary and writing classes. We will miss Dan’s smiling face around Cotting, but are very excited for his future plans!

Melissa has made huge strides in her time at Cotting. For more than nine years, she has progressed in and outside the classroom. Equipped with the fundamental life skills that Cotting has helped her build, Melissa is ready for a new challenge! India has been at Cotting for fourteen years. You may have heard India’s voice at Cotting basketball games as she sang the national anthem. Her talents shine as a singer and writer, and she has a wicked sense of humor. She also cares very much about children, and has been working at Lexington Montessori School as part of Cotting’s Project Bridges community-based volunteer work experience program.
