Join In On Cotting’s Next Book Give-Away! “Rescue and Jessica”

We are at it again! We have another Cotting School book give-away that is near and dear to us. We are proud to introduce you to “Rescue and Jessica: A Life-Changing Friendship”. For students at Cotting School, the story of “Rescue and Jessica” is a powerful one as it introduces readers to a person with a disability. For some readers this might be the first time they are introduced to someone with a disability. The story also provides insights into themes that are relevant to our students and themes that shed light on their stories, which include relying on others for... Read More

Alumni Reunion – “I felt like I was my old self again. I feel like Cotting is my home, a home I can always go back to.”

Cotting Alumni Reunion 2018 had a great turnout!  Alumni from last year and decades past turned out to reconnect with old friends and reminisce about their days at Cotting! We also has some former and current staff on hand to welcome everyone back to campus. I feel like Cotting is my home, a home I can always go... Read More

India’s Post-Graduation Plans

India’s Post-Graduation Plans

India has been at Cotting for fourteen years.  You may have heard India’s voice at Cotting basketball games as she sang the national anthem.  Her talents shine as a singer and writer, and she has a wicked sense of humor.  She also cares very much about children, and has been working at Lexington Montessori School as part of Cotting’s Project Bridges community-based volunteer work experience program.  We’re proud to say that after graduation, India will stay on at Lexington Montessori as a paid employee, continuing to follow her passion for working with children. While not all graduates find paid work... Read More
