The sympathy, love, and support of the entire Cotting School community are with the family of Declan O’Connell. Declan was a student here for more than seven years, joining us at the age of 3. Cotting was the only school he knew. Tom and Lara, Declan’s parents, write, “We will be eternally grateful for the joy and love that Cotting brought to Declan and to our entire family. In our minds it is a magical place-almost beyond touch of the normal world-where only good is allowed in.” The O’Connell family has generously requested that memorial donations be made to Cotting School. Cotting is committed to incorporating cutting-edge technology into the classroom.  But our Curriculum Groups have discovered that sometimes, Low-Tech is the answer.   Our Curriculum Work Groups have been hard at work all year, enhancing and improving instruction for our students.  These groups are collaborative, professional development groups focused on a particular topic that is relevant to our curriculum and instruction.
