Cotting’s Halloween Fun Fest gave everyone a chance to dress up and celebrate the day with a lot of laughter and games. Our Physical and Occupational Therapy departments joined forces with volunteers from Shire to offer students ghost bowling, pumpkin decorating, a photo booth, and lots more. The making of “What’s your SuperPower” was quite a process! Students were asked to consider two questions. First, what is a SuperPower? SuperPowers don’t only exist in the lives of SuperHeroes, but within all of us! Second, students were asked to consider their own unique SuperPower. One goal of the project was for students to think about what makes them unique and special, and to appreciate how our collective SuperPowers make us a strong community! This year’s theme for back to school was “What is your Falcon Superpower?” Cotting students and staff were asked to choose their superpower for the making of the film, “What’s Your Superpower?” Students used this opportunity to identify their unique gifts and talents, while also exploring their filmmaking skills! Those who turned out on a chilly October 18th to sample chili at Cotting were not disappointed. The chilis were amazing, and the music was fabulous!
