Project Bridges

On May 21st, over twenty community employers gathered at Cotting School with students and families to celebrate a year of student internships . Three awards were given out for special anniversaries, including deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum of Lincoln for 10 years of partnership, Xerox Corporation of Waltham for 16 years of partnership, and Mahoney’s Garden Center of Winchester for 20 years of partnership. The awards were presented by students to their direct on-site community supervisors. In addition, 13 seniors shared personal reflections of their experience in the Project Bridges program. The highlight of the morning was a video shown in the auditorium highlighting each student’s contribution to their 2014-2015 community work site.
