Madrigal Singers Perform for Students December 20, 2012 The Renaissance era-garbed troupe of madrigal singers from Acton Boxborough High School performed once again for Cotting School on Thursday. Invited by music teacher Elizabeth MacDonald (a former member of the troupe), and led by Acton Boxborough music teacher, Jennifer Moss, the high school students sang a few holiday-themed songs and warmed hearts and spirits on a cold winter’s day. Above, Hannah shares a laugh before waving the scepter to begin the singing. Listen to hear the Madrigals sing Rudolph. For more photos, check out our Facebook Page.
Cotting student artists were the stars of the day at a packed reception held on December 8, 2013 at the Lincoln Library, where Cotting student art is on display for the month of December. Families and friends were on hand to admire the colorful artwork and sculptures and partake in refreshments. Cotting Art Teacher, Rosanne Trolan, explained to many interested guests what goes behind the scenes as students first learn about various artists and design concepts and then create their art. The afternoon was a smashing success! For more photos, visit us on our Facebook Page.
