Seniors Raise Money for OneFund

The traditional “Jeans Days” at Cotting School is one way each senior class raises money for their annual class trip. Several times a year, they offer faculty and staff the opportunity to pay $2 to wear jeans to school.  This week, seniors decided to hold a special “Jeans Day” to raise money for the people effected by the events at the Boston Marathon, and raised $1,107 for the OneFund. Seniors are proud to give back to their community.

Nora Bailey is Cotting Fellow

  The Cotting Fellowship selects one recent college graduate in Education to teach at Cotting for two years under close mentoring. After successful completion of the two years, the Fellow is given a generous stipend toward a Master’s degree in Special Education, our way of giving back to the field. Legislators Visit Cotting

44 Legislators and Staff Visited Cotting School in April  Cotting School students, faculty, staff, and parents welcomed 44 legislators and their staff from Massachusetts and New Hampshire on April 8, 2013, for tours and visits. “Invite Your Legislator to Cotting School Day: A View Inside a Special Education School” was an opportunity for legislators to spend time in classrooms talking with students, touring the building guided by faculty and staff, and sharing their thoughts with one another during a short presentation. Basketball Banquet 2013 This year’s Basketball Awards Banquet honored all middle and upper school students who participated in the 2012-2013 basketball program.  Boosters, cheerleaders, players and student referees gathered with their families in the dining room for dinner before the award ceremony.
