Obama Wins Election at Cotting

Students and Staff Cast Ballots November 2012 Continuing a tradition begun during the 2008 election season, Cotting’s Upper Students created a festive polling place for students and staff to cast their own mock ballots for President, choosing between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Above, Middle School student Kyle casts his ballot for President. The results are IN!  President Barack Obama won in a landslide, receiving 157 votes, while Romney earned 35. Harvard Pilgrim Supports Cotting Students November 2012 Cotting School is pleased to accept a gift from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation to help 12 Cotting students experience equine therapy at Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program.  Through grants from the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation and the Arbella Insurance Foundation, Cotting has been able to significantly lower the cost to families. November 30, 2012 The excitement was palpable in Killian Gym on the evening of Friday, November 30 as a stalwart team of alumni returned to give the Cotting Falcons a run for their money on the basketball court. David Manzo, Cotting President, commenced the Varsity game with a moment of silence in memory of two recent alumni who both passed away unexpectedly in 2012, Liana Fitzgerald, Class of 2011, and Matthew Caban, Class of 2010.
