Alumnus J.R. Foley and his father, Jim Foley, visited Cotting School on Wednesday to talk with students in Mr. Teuber’s and Ms. Bailey’s classes about unions, a topic they’re learning about in history. Students shared with Mr. Foley what they know about unions and why they were started, such as poor working conditions, long hours and low pay.
