Upper school students got an inside look at several career areas this week when members of the community came to Cotting to talk about their work. Students introduced the guests, asked terrific questions, and sang along to the Star Spangled Banner. Students Visit State House

Upper School Students Visit State House March 15, 2011 Studies of Massachusetts and our system of government led two Cotting upper school classes to visit the State House and meet three important public figures: Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray, Senate President Therese Murray, and Lexington’s State Representative, Jay Kaufman. With the assistance of tour guide extraordinaire, Cotting alum Tom McDonough, Class of 1974, students had a chance to converse with those who help make democracy work in our Commonwealth. Alumni vs. Falcons

Last Basketball Game of the Season On the evening of Friday, March 4th, the atmosphere in Cotting’s gym was positively electric. It was the final basketball game of the season and both student and alumni athletes were eager to play. The alumni had a particularly strong showing since they have been meeting on Saturdays this winter to play. Both teams were introduced by Austin, Leah sang the national anthem, and the game began.
