The Augustus Thorndike Fellowship, given annually, recognizes a member of the faculty or staff of Cotting School who exemplifies excellence in service to children with special needs. While the fellowship recognizes the extraordinary work of a particular member of the Cotting School staff each year, it simultaneously acknowledges the thoughtful, dedicated efforts of the staff as a whole. Cotting School is pleased to announce it was awarded accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) on December 3, 2009. Cotting School continues to hold full approval status from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Cotting pursued accreditation from NEASC as part of its ongoing commitment to excellence. NEASC is the oldest of the six accrediting agencies in the United States.
