Students, faculty and staff celebrated Halloween in the usual Cotting style, donning costumes, visiting a Haunted House hosted by the OT-PT department, and enjoying the lower school parade. Upper school students boogeyed to the Beatles, the Monkeys, Roy Orbison and “Thriller” at the afterschool dance.
Disability History Awareness Month Students, faculty and staff celebrated “Disability History Awareness Month” with an enthusiastic and exciting game of Jeopardy. Kathleen Cuddy, a Harvard Pilgrim Health Care employee and the wife of Adaptive Physical Education Instructor Dan Cuddy, presented Cotting’s President, David W. Manzo, with a Community Spirit 9/11 Mini-grant of $500. The Mini-grant program was created to commemorate the first anniversary of September 11, 2001 through a special contribution to the Harvard Pilgrim Foundation. Grant recipients are recommended by employees of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Perot Systems. The Mini-grant will be used to support Connelly Field.
