Cotting
School Names Krista Macari, Chief Academic Officer
and
Bridget Irish, Chief Operating Officer

Effective
July 1, 2006, Krista Macari was named the Chief Academic Officer and Bridget
Irish was named the Chief Operating Officer of Cotting School.
About Krista Macari, MS CCC SLP
In 2005, Krista was named the Director of Student
Services at Cotting School where she oversees the assessment, development, implementation
and evaluation of a school wide curriculum, coordinates professional development
and supervises our service teams, Lower School and Pace Assistive Technology
Center.
Given her 8-year tenure at Cotting, Krista understands that leading the school
is an opportunity to embrace our rich history, which has been our foundation,
while ensuring that Cotting School continues to serve students and their families
through state-of-the art programming and facilities. She is a leader who believes
that Cotting School should set the standard for excellence in the field of special
education.
Direct care experience is an asset for a leader and Krista’s professional experiences
includes her work as a speech-language pathologist and her role as the Communication
Therapy Department Team Leader at Cotting.
Krista holds a BA in English and Communications from the University at Albany,
NY and an MS iin Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University.
About Bridget Irish, MBA SPHR
In January, Bridget was hired as our Human Resources Consultant. In her short
tenure at Cotting, Bridget has shown excellent judgment, resourcefulness and
wisdom. In addition to overseeing HR Functions including employee relations,
performance management, career development, retention, recruitment and staffing,
benefits and compensation and policy
interpretation, she has excelled in other areas including marketing, technology
and communication. In her position as
Chief Operating Officer where she will oversee many of the key administrative
functions of the organization.
From 1998 through 2005 Bridget was the Senior Vice President for Human Resources
at ITG, Inc where she oversaw human resources for 1000+ employees worldwide.
Prior to her work at ITG, Bridget worked in the Human Resources Department at
Partners Community HealthCare.
Bridget has a BA in economics from Tufts University and an MBA, magna cum laude,
from Babson College.
