Cotting School Graduation

On Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 1:45 PM in the school’s auditorium, Jenny, Sarah, Shawn, Suzee, Josh, Kevin, Brian, Matt, David, Eddie and Rebecca graduated from Cotting School as the entire Cotting Community - families, friends and the teachers and staff - looked on with pride.

In his address to the graduates, David Manzo, President of Cotting School stated: "I often tell people – what makes Cotting special is the way our students treat each other with exquisite kindness. You are examples for all of us of how we should lead our lives. I see each member of this senior class as extraordinary role models for everyone at Cotting School. The other students look up to you and admire your spirit, your grace and your hard work …

All of us - teachers, staff members, and administrators - have been blessed this year to enjoy our 11 seniors.

We know that you are gifts to us and that you have wonderful talents that you’ve nurtured and developed during your years at Cotting School.

Each of you has made the most of your gifts and brought such pleasure to all who cross your paths.

In closing, a new chapter begins in your life - a new chapter for you and your families. As you leave us, know that each of us carries a piece of you in our hearts. Know too that you will always be members of the Cotting Community.

I hope that you visit us often – that you will come back and attend proms and art shows and play in basketball games.

Most importantly I hope that you know we will be here to help when there are bumps in the road and to celebrate your future successes."
